ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
The Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy. The two names return immediately after lordship, so that His rule over the worlds is read through mercy and not through power. Mercy is glossed as the willing of good toward its object.
نہایت مہربان، بہت رحم کرنے والا۔ دونوں نام مبالغے کے صیغے ہیں، جن میں رحمت کی فراوانی بھی ہے اور اس کا دوام بھی۔ یہ تکرار نہیں بلکہ رحمت کے دو پہلو ہیں۔
