مَٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ
Master of the Day of Recompense. Din here is requital, not religion, and the Day is the Day of Resurrection. It is singled out because on that Day no ownership is visible except His, though His ownership never lapsed.
جزا کے دن کا مالک۔ دین سے مراد یہاں بدلہ ہے۔ اس دن سارا اختیار اللہ ہی کے پاس ہوگا، نہ کوئی سفارش چلے گی نہ کسی کا زور۔ رحمت کے ذکر کے بعد یہ بتانا ہے کہ وہ منصف بھی ہے۔
