أَكَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا أَنْ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَنْ أَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنَّ لَهُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ قَالَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَٰحِرٌ مُّبِينٌ
Is it a wonder to people that We revealed to a man from among them: warn the people, and give those who believe the good news that they stand on sure ground with their Lord? Those who refuse say: this man is plainly a sorcerer. The wonder they express is only at God sending a human being as a messenger.
کیا لوگوں کو یہ بات تعجب خیز لگی کہ ہم نے خود انہی میں سے ایک آدمی کی طرف وحی بھیجی، تاکہ وہ لوگوں کو ڈرائے اور ایمان والوں کو یہ خوشخبری دے کہ ان کے رب کے ہاں ان کا سچا اور بلند مرتبہ ہے؟ حالانکہ منکرین نے اسے صاف صاف جادوگر کہہ دیا۔ درحقیقت تعجب کی کوئی بات نہیں، کیونکہ لوگوں کی رہنمائی کے لیے فرشتہ نہیں بلکہ انہی جیسا انسان ہی مناسب رسول ہو سکتا تھا۔
