فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا
And raising a cloud of dust with it. Both traditions gloss it alike: the dust thrown up by the running itself, from the force of the hooves.
”فَاَثَرْنَ بِہٖ نَقْعًا“ یعنی اُس دوڑ سے انہوں نے گرد اڑا دی اور اسے اٹھا کر ہر طرف پھیلا دیا۔ ”نَقْع“ کے معنی گرد و غبار کے ہیں۔ یہ ان کی دوڑ کا تیسرا اثر ہے، جو منظر کو اور نمایاں کر دیتا ہے۔
