وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ
And truly, to that he is a witness. The commentaries gloss it as his own conduct testifying against him: what he does shows plainly enough what he is, so that no other witness need be called.
”اور وہ خود اس پر گواہ ہے“ — یعنی اپنی اس ناشکری پر وہ خود گواہ ہے، اس کا انکار نہیں کر سکتا کیونکہ یہ بات اتنی کھلی ہوئی ہے۔ اس وصف کا اثر اس کے قول اور اس کے فعل دونوں سے ظاہر ہوتا ہے۔ گویا اپنے مقدمے میں وہ خود ہی فریق ہے اور خود ہی گواہ۔
