يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ
A day when people will be like scattered moths. Both traditions gloss the image alike: a swarm going every way at once, riding over one another and not knowing where to go, until they are called to the reckoning.
”جس دن لوگ بکھرے ہوئے پروانوں کی طرح ہوں گے۔“ ”فَرَاش“ وہ چھوٹے پتنگے ہیں جو بےتابانہ اُڑتے اور گرتے ہیں، اور ”مَبْثُوْث“ کے معنی ہیں پھیلے اور بکھرے ہوئے۔ ان سے تشبیہ کثرت، انتشار، بےقراری اور کمزوری میں دی گئی: حیرت کے مارے ایک دوسرے میں گتھے ہوئے موج در موج۔
