ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
Then on that day you will be asked about the ease you were given. Both traditions gloss it as the whole of what was enjoyed here - health, free time, food and drink - and both read the question as being about what was done with it rather than about having had it.
”پھر اس دن تم سے نعمتوں کے بارے میں ضرور پوچھا جائے گا۔“ ”نعیم“ سے مراد ہر وہ چیز ہے جس سے دنیا میں لذت اٹھائی جاتی ہے: صحت، امن، فراغت، کھانا، پینا اور اس کے علاوہ بھی۔ تو پوچھا جائے گا کہ یہ کہاں سے آئیں، کہاں خرچ ہوئیں، اور کیا تم نے ان کا حق ادا کیا؟ اور محض سوال ہو جانا عذاب کو لازم نہیں کرتا: جس نے ان کا شکر ادا کیا وہ بچ جائے گا، اور جس نے ناشکری کی وہ پکڑا جائے گا۔
