وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ
And what will tell you what the Crusher is? The commentaries gloss the question as asked to make the thing loom, and note that this sura answers its own question in the lines that follow it.
”اور آپ کو کیا معلوم کہ حُطَمَہ کیا ہے؟“ یہ سوال اس کی ہولناکی جتانے کے لیے ہے، کسی خبر کے حصول کے لیے نہیں۔ یعنی اس کی اصل حقیقت انسانی عقلیں نہیں پا سکتیں اور نہ ان کا بیان اس تک پہنچ سکتا ہے۔ پھر اس کے بعد اجمالاً تین وصف بیان کر دیے گئے۔
