ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ
Who are heedless of their prayer. The commentaries gloss the heedlessness as letting the prayer slip past the time it belongs to, so that what is described is not a wandering mind but a prayer that is simply not kept.
”جو اپنی نماز سے غافل ہیں“ — یعنی اس سے بےپروا اور لاپروا ہیں، نہ اس کی پروا کرتے ہیں، نہ اسے ٹھیک طرح ادا کرتے ہیں اور نہ اس کے وقت پر پڑھتے ہیں۔ قابلِ مذمت وہ بھول نہیں جو نماز کے اندر بےارادہ ہو جائے، بلکہ ”عَنْ صَلَاتِہِمْ“ یعنی نماز کے پورے معاملے سے ہی غفلت مراد ہے۔
