وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
Nor will you serve what I serve. Both traditions take up the question the repetition raises and answer it the same way: what was being refused had itself been put more than once, so the refusal is worded to match it, offer for offer.
”اور نہ تم عبادت کرنے والے ہو اُس کی جس کی میں عبادت کرتا ہوں۔“ یوں معبود کے اعتبار سے اشتراک کی نفی کے بعد خودِ عبادت کے اعتبار سے بھی اشتراک کی نفی مکمل ہو گئی۔ یہ تکرار بےفائدہ اعادہ نہیں، بلکہ فیصلے کو اتنا پختہ کر دینا ہے کہ سودے بازی کی کوئی گنجائش باقی نہ رہے۔
