وَمَا ظَلَمْنَٰهُمْ وَلَٰكِن ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَمَآ أَغْنَتْ عَنْهُمْ ءَالِهَتُهُمُ ٱلَّتِى يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَىْءٍ لَّمَّا جَآءَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ وَمَا زَادُوهُمْ غَيْرَ تَتْبِيبٍ
We did not wrong them; they wronged themselves. Their gods, on whom they called besides God, availed them nothing when the command of your Lord came, and they added nothing to them but ruin.
اور ہم نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا بلکہ انہوں نے خود اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کیا، سو ان کے وہ معبود جنہیں وہ اللہ کے سوا پکارتے تھے، جب تمہارے رب کا حکم آیا تو ان کے کسی کام نہ آئے، اور انہوں نے انہیں ہلاکت کے سوا کچھ نہ بڑھایا۔
