وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ طَرَفَىِ ٱلنَّهَارِ وَزُلَفًا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ إِنَّ ٱلْحَسَنَٰتِ يُذْهِبْنَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ ذَٰلِكَ ذِكْرَىٰ لِلذَّٰكِرِينَ
And establish the prayer at the two ends of the day and in the near parts of the night. Good deeds drive away bad ones. Both traditions read the good deeds here as the prayers themselves, which wipe out what was done before them. That is a reminder for those who keep God in mind.
اور دن کے دونوں کناروں پر اور رات کے کچھ حصوں میں نماز قائم کرو، بے شک نیکیاں برائیوں کو مٹا دیتی ہیں، دونوں روایتیں ان نیکیوں کو خود نمازیں ہی سمجھتی ہیں جو پہلے کیے گئے کو مٹا دیتی ہیں، یہ نصیحت کرنے والوں کے لیے ایک یاد دہانی ہے۔
