قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَأْتِيكُم بِهِ ٱللَّهُ إِن شَآءَ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ
He said: it is God who will bring it on you if He wills; the matter is His and not mine, and you cannot escape Him.
اس نے کہا: یہ تو اللہ ہی ہے جو چاہے تو تم پر لے آئے، معاملہ اسی کا ہے میرا نہیں، اور تم اسے عاجز نہیں کر سکتے۔ مفسرین اس جواب میں نوح کی طرف سے اپنی کسی ذاتی طاقت کے دعوے کی مکمل نفی دیکھتے ہیں۔
