إِن نَّقُولُ إِلَّا ٱعْتَرَىٰكَ بَعْضُ ءَالِهَتِنَا بِسُوٓءٍ قَالَ إِنِّىٓ أُشْهِدُ ٱللَّهَ وَٱشْهَدُوٓا۟ أَنِّى بَرِىٓءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ
We say only that some of our gods have struck you with harm. He said: I call God to witness, and you bear witness too, that I am clear of what you set up as partners
ہم تو صرف یہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارے کچھ معبودوں نے تمہیں کسی نقصان میں مبتلا کر دیا ہے، اس نے کہا: میں اللہ کو گواہ بناتا ہوں اور تم بھی گواہ رہو کہ میں اس شرک سے بری ہوں جو تم کرتے ہو۔
