وَرَأَيْتَ ٱلنَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِى دِينِ ٱللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًا
And you see people entering the religion of God in crowds. Both traditions gloss the last word identically, group after group and company after company, and they set it against what had gone before: until then they had been coming in one at a time.
”اور آپ لوگوں کو دیکھیں کہ وہ اللہ کے دین میں فوج در فوج داخل ہو رہے ہیں“ — یعنی جماعت در جماعت، جبکہ اس سے پہلے ایک ایک، دو دو کر کے داخل ہوتے تھے۔ عرب قبائل اس بات کے منتظر تھے کہ آپ ﷺ اور آپ کی قوم کے درمیان کیا فیصلہ ہوتا ہے؛ پھر جب مکہ فتح ہو گیا تو وہ اپنی خوشی سے چلے آئے۔ یوں سختی کے بعد معاملہ اس آسانی تک پہنچا۔
