قَالَ قَآئِلٌ مِّنْهُمْ لَا تَقْتُلُوا۟ يُوسُفَ وَأَلْقُوهُ فِى غَيَٰبَتِ ٱلْجُبِّ يَلْتَقِطْهُ بَعْضُ ٱلسَّيَّارَةِ إِن كُنتُمْ فَٰعِلِينَ
One of them said: do not kill Joseph, but throw him into the dark bottom of the well, and some caravan will pick him up, if you must do something.
ان میں سے ایک نے، جو ان کا سب سے بڑا بھائی تھا، کہا: یوسف کو قتل مت کرو بلکہ اسے کسی اندھے کنویں کی تہ میں ڈال دو، کوئی گزرتا ہوا قافلہ اسے نکال لے جائے گا۔ اگر تمہیں کچھ کرنا ہی ہے تو یہی راستہ اختیار کرو۔
