قَالَتْ فَذَٰلِكُنَّ ٱلَّذِى لُمْتُنَّنِى فِيهِ وَلَقَدْ رَٰوَدتُّهُۥ عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ فَٱسْتَعْصَمَ وَلَئِن لَّمْ يَفْعَلْ مَآ ءَامُرُهُۥ لَيُسْجَنَنَّ وَلَيَكُونًا مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰغِرِينَ
She said: this is the one you blamed me over. I did try to draw him away from himself, and he held back. And if he does not do what I order him, he will be put in prison and be brought low.
اس نے کہا: یہ ہے وہ شخص جس کے بارے میں تم مجھے ملامت کرتی تھیں۔ بےشک میں نے اسے اپنی طرف مائل کرنے کی کوشش کی تھی مگر وہ بچ نکلا۔ اور اگر اس نے میرا حکم نہ مانا تو یہ ضرور قید کیا جائے گا اور ذلیل لوگوں میں شامل ہو جائے گا۔
