قَالَ رَبِّ ٱلسِّجْنُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِمَّا يَدْعُونَنِىٓ إِلَيْهِ وَإِلَّا تَصْرِفْ عَنِّى كَيْدَهُنَّ أَصْبُ إِلَيْهِنَّ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَ
He said: my Lord, prison is dearer to me than what they call me to. And unless You turn their scheming away from me, I will lean towards them and be one of the ignorant.
یوسف نے دعا کی: اے میرے رب، جس کام کی طرف یہ عورتیں مجھے بلا رہی ہیں اس سے تو قید مجھے زیادہ پسند ہے۔ اور اگر تو نے ان کی چالوں کو مجھ سے نہ ہٹایا تو میں ان کی طرف مائل ہو جاؤں گا اور نادان لوگوں میں شامل ہو جاؤں گا۔
