فَلَمَّا دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ قَالُوا۟ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْعَزِيزُ مَسَّنَا وَأَهْلَنَا ٱلضُّرُّ وَجِئْنَا بِبِضَٰعَةٍ مُّزْجَىٰةٍ فَأَوْفِ لَنَا ٱلْكَيْلَ وَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَيْنَآ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَجْزِى ٱلْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ
So when they entered upon him they said: mighty one, hardship has touched us and our family, and we have brought poor goods. So give us full measure, and be charitable to us. God repays those who are charitable.
جب وہ یوسف کے پاس حاضر ہوئے تو کہا: اے عزیز، ہمیں اور ہمارے گھر والوں کو سخت تکلیف پہنچی ہے، اور ہم بہت معمولی سا سرمایہ لے کر آئے ہیں۔ اس لیے ہمیں پورا ناپ کر دیجیے اور ہم پر صدقہ بھی کیجیے، بےشک اللہ صدقہ کرنے والوں کو اجر دیتا ہے۔
