قَالَ سَوْفَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ لَكُمْ رَبِّىٓ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
He said: I will ask my Lord to forgive you. He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. One tradition holds that he put it off to the last dark hour before a Friday dawn.
یعقوب علیہ السلام نے کہا: میں عنقریب اپنے رب سے تمہارے لیے بخشش مانگوں گا، بےشک وہی بخشنے والا، نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔ ایک روایت کے مطابق انہوں نے یہ دعا جمعہ کی رات کے آخری پچھلے پہر تک کے لیے مؤخر کر دی۔
