سَوَآءٌ مِّنكُم مَّنْ أَسَرَّ ٱلْقَوْلَ وَمَن جَهَرَ بِهِۦ وَمَنْ هُوَ مُسْتَخْفٍۭ بِٱلَّيْلِ وَسَارِبٌۢ بِٱلنَّهَارِ
It is all one to His knowledge: the one among you who keeps his words to himself and the one who says them aloud, the one who hides himself in the dark of night and the one who walks out openly by day. The commentaries read the four together as covering every case a person might take for concealment, and the secret and the open stand equal before Him.
