قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِى ٱللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى قَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ
Their messengers said: is there doubt about God, who brought the heavens and the earth into being? He calls you so that He may forgive you your sins and give you respite to a term appointed. They said: you are only men like us, wanting to turn us from what our fathers served — so bring us a clear warrant.
ان کے رسولوں نے کہا: کیا اللہ کے بارے میں کوئی شک ہو سکتا ہے، جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو وجود بخشا؟ وہ تمہیں اس لیے بلاتا ہے کہ تمہارے گناہ معاف کر دے اور تمہیں ایک مقررہ مدت تک مہلت دے۔ انہوں نے کہا: تم تو ہمارے جیسے انسان ہی ہو، تم چاہتے ہو کہ ہمیں اس سے روک دو جس کی ہمارے آباء عبادت کرتے تھے — تو ہمارے پاس کوئی واضح دلیل لاؤ۔
