وَبَرَزُوا۟ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ ٱلضُّعَفَٰٓؤُا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَىْءٍ قَالُوا۟ لَوْ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَٰكُمْ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْنَآ أَجَزِعْنَآ أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٍ
They will come out before God, all of them, and the weak will say to those who were arrogant: we were your followers, so can you keep any of God's punishment off us? They will say: had God guided us we would have guided you. It is all one to us now whether we rage or bear it patiently — there is nowhere for us to escape.
وہ سب اللہ کے سامنے نکل کر آئیں گے، اور کمزور لوگ ان سے کہیں گے جنہوں نے تکبر کیا تھا: ہم تمہارے پیروکار تھے، تو کیا تم اللہ کے عذاب میں سے کچھ بھی ہم سے دور کر سکتے ہو؟ وہ کہیں گے: اگر اللہ ہمیں ہدایت دیتا تو ہم تمہیں ہدایت دے دیتے۔ اب ہمارے لیے برابر ہے چاہے ہم بے چین ہوں یا صبر کریں — ہمارے لیے بھاگنے کی کوئی جگہ نہیں۔
