تُؤْتِىٓ أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِينٍۭ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهَا وَيَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
It gives its fruit in every season by its Lord's leave. And God strikes these likenesses for people so that they may take them to heart. The commentaries fix on the two halves of the tree: what holds it up cannot be seen, and what it yields cannot be missed.
وہ اپنے رب کی اجازت سے ہر موسم میں اپنا پھل دیتی ہے۔ اور اللہ لوگوں کے لیے یہ مثالیں بیان کرتا ہے تاکہ وہ نصیحت حاصل کریں۔ مفسرین درخت کے دو حصوں پر توجہ دیتے ہیں: جو چیز اسے سہارا دیتی ہے وہ نظر نہیں آتی، اور جو وہ پیدا کرتی ہے وہ نظر انداز نہیں ہو سکتی۔
