رَّبَّنَآ إِنِّىٓ أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِى بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِى زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ ٱلْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱجْعَلْ أَفْـِٔدَةً مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ تَهْوِىٓ إِلَيْهِمْ وَٱرْزُقْهُم مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ
Our Lord, I have settled some of my offspring in a valley where nothing grows, by Your sacred House — both traditions name Ishmael — our Lord, so that they may establish the prayer. So make hearts among people incline towards them, and provide them with fruits, so that they may be thankful.
ہمارے رب، میں نے اپنی اولاد میں سے کچھ کو ایک بے آب و گیاہ وادی میں تیرے حرمت والے گھر کے پاس بسا دیا ہے — دونوں روایتیں اسماعیل کا نام لیتی ہیں — ہمارے رب، تاکہ وہ نماز قائم کریں۔ تو لوگوں کے دلوں کو ان کی طرف مائل کر دے، اور انہیں پھلوں سے رزق دے، تاکہ وہ شکر کریں۔
