وَأَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ نُّجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ ٱلرُّسُلَ أَوَلَمْ تَكُونُوٓا۟ أَقْسَمْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٍ
And warn people of a day when the punishment comes to them, and those who did wrong will say: our Lord, give us a little more time, and we will answer Your call and follow the messengers. And the answer comes: did you not swear before this that you would never come to an end?
اور لوگوں کو اس دن سے ڈراؤ جب ان پر عذاب آئے گا، اور ظالم لوگ کہیں گے: ہمارے رب، ہمیں تھوڑی سی مزید مہلت دے دے، ہم تیری پکار کا جواب دیں گے اور رسولوں کی پیروی کریں گے۔ اور جواب آتا ہے: کیا تم نے اس سے پہلے قسمیں نہیں کھائی تھیں کہ تمہارے لیے کبھی زوال نہیں ہے؟
