وَحَفِظْنَٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ
And We have guarded it from every outcast satan — guarded, as the commentaries gloss it, by the flames, and the word for outcast meaning one driven off and pelted away.
