وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمْ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ
And We send the winds bearing fertility, and send down water from the sky and give it to you to drink — and you are not the ones who hold its stores. The commentaries note the winds are named as doing the work before the rain falls, so that what looks like the whole event is only its last step.
اور ہم ہوائیں بھیجتے ہیں جو بارش کا سبب بنتی ہیں، پھر آسمان سے پانی اتار کر تمہیں پلاتے ہیں، اور تم اس کے ذخیرہ کرنے والے نہیں ہو۔ مفسرین اس بات پر توجہ دلاتے ہیں کہ ہوائیں بارش گرنے سے پہلے اپنا کام کر چکی ہوتی ہیں، تو جو مکمل واقعہ نظر آتا ہے وہ دراصل اس کا آخری قدم ہی ہے۔
