ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا۟ وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ وَيُلْهِهِمُ ٱلْأَمَلُ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
Leave them to eat and enjoy themselves, and let their hopes keep them busy — they will come to know. The commentaries read the hoping as the long expectation of more time, which is what occupies a person so completely that the question of the end never gets asked.
