إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ
Except Iblis. He refused to be among those who prostrated — and the exception the previous āyah had closed off is made by an act, not by a gap in the command.
سوائے ابلیس کے، اس نے سجدہ کرنے والوں میں شامل ہونے سے انکار کر دیا۔ جس استثنا کو پچھلی آیت نے بند کر دیا تھا وہ اب ایک عمل سے سامنے آیا، حکم میں کسی خلا سے نہیں۔
