وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ
And We take out whatever rancour was in their breasts; brothers, on couches, facing one another. The commentaries note that what is removed is removed rather than forgiven by them, and that facing one another means no one sits behind anyone's back.
اور ہم ان کے سینوں میں جو کچھ بھی کینہ تھا اسے نکال دیں گے، وہ آپس میں بھائی بھائی بن کر تختوں پر ایک دوسرے کے آمنے سامنے بیٹھے ہوں گے۔ مفسرین نوٹ کرتے ہیں کہ یہ کینہ خود ان کی طرف سے معاف کیا ہوا نہیں بلکہ اللہ کی طرف سے نکالا ہوا ہے، اور آمنے سامنے ہونے کا مطلب ہے کہ کوئی کسی کی پیٹھ پیچھے نہیں بیٹھے گا۔
