إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Except the family of Lot; we will deliver all of them. The commentaries gloss the deliverance as granted them for their belief, so the exception rests on a ground rather than on favour.
سوائے لوط کے گھر والوں کے، ہم ان سب کو ضرور نجات دیں گے۔ مفسرین اس نجات کی وضاحت ان کے ایمان کی وجہ سے دی گئی سمجھتے ہیں، پس یہ استثنا کسی فضل و کرم پر نہیں بلکہ ایک سبب پر قائم ہے۔
