قَالَ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيْفِى فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ
He said: these are my guests, so do not disgrace me. The commentaries gloss the disgrace as falling on the host himself through what is done to the guest under his roof.
