وَتَحْمِلُ أَثْقَالَكُمْ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍ لَّمْ تَكُونُوا۟ بَٰلِغِيهِ إِلَّا بِشِقِّ ٱلْأَنفُسِ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ
And they carry your loads to a land you could not otherwise reach except with great hardship to yourselves. Your Lord is indeed Kind, Merciful — the commentaries attach the two names to exactly this: the labour taken off the back of the one who could not have borne it.
اور وہ تمہارا بوجھ اس شہر تک اٹھا کر لے جاتے ہیں جہاں تم اپنی جانوں کو سخت مشقت میں ڈالے بغیر نہ پہنچ سکتے، بے شک تمہارا رب بہت شفیق نہایت مہربان ہے۔ مفسرین ان دونوں ناموں کو خاص طور پر اسی مشقت سے جوڑتے ہیں جو اس شخص کی پیٹھ سے اتار دی گئی جو خود اسے اٹھا نہیں سکتا تھا۔
