وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ ءَايَتَيْنِ فَمَحَوْنَآ ءَايَةَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَجَعَلْنَآ ءَايَةَ ٱلنَّهَارِ مُبْصِرَةً لِّتَبْتَغُوا۟ فَضْلًا مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلِتَعْلَمُوا۟ عَدَدَ ٱلسِّنِينَ وَٱلْحِسَابَ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ فَصَّلْنَٰهُ تَفْصِيلًا
And We made the night and the day two signs. We blotted out the sign of the night and made the sign of the day one you can see by, so that you may seek bounty from your Lord and know the count of the years and the reckoning. And everything We have set out in detail.
اور ہم نے رات اور دن کو دو نشانیاں بنایا۔ رات کی نشانی کو تاریک کر دیا اور دن کی نشانی کو روشن بنایا تاکہ تم اپنے رب کا فضل تلاش کر سکو اور سالوں کی گنتی اور حساب معلوم کر سکو۔ اور ہم نے ہر چیز کو خوب کھول کر بیان کر دیا ہے۔
