وَإِمَّا تُعْرِضَنَّ عَنْهُمُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ رَحْمَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكَ تَرْجُوهَا فَقُل لَّهُمْ قَوْلًا مَّيْسُورًا
And if you turn from them, seeking a mercy from your Lord that you hope for, then say to them a gentle word. The commentaries read it as instruction for the one who has nothing to give: what cannot be given in money is still owed in speech.
اور اگر تم ان سے اس لیے منہ موڑو کہ تمہیں اپنے رب کی جس رحمت کی امید ہے اس کے انتظار میں ہو، تو ان سے نرم بات کہو۔ مفسرین اسے اس شخص کے لیے ہدایت سمجھتے ہیں جس کے پاس دینے کو کچھ نہ ہو: جو مال میں نہیں دیا جا سکتا وہ بھی بات میں دینا واجب رہتا ہے۔
