وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا إِنَّكَ لَن تَخْرِقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَلَن تَبْلُغَ ٱلْجِبَالَ طُولًا
And do not walk in the earth exultant. You will not split the earth open, and you will not reach the mountains in height. The commentaries read the answer as measuring the swagger against the ground under it and the peaks above it.
اور زمین میں اکڑ کر مت چلو، تم نہ زمین کو پھاڑ سکتے ہو اور نہ اونچائی میں پہاڑوں تک پہنچ سکتے ہو۔ مفسرین اس جواب کو اس اکڑ کے نیچے موجود زمین اور اس کے اوپر کھڑی چوٹیوں سے ناپ کر سمجھتے ہیں۔
