وَمَا مَنَعَنَآ أَن نُّرْسِلَ بِٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ إِلَّآ أَن كَذَّبَ بِهَا ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ وَءَاتَيْنَا ثَمُودَ ٱلنَّاقَةَ مُبْصِرَةً فَظَلَمُوا۟ بِهَا وَمَا نُرْسِلُ بِٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ إِلَّا تَخْوِيفًا
And nothing stopped Us from sending the signs except that the earlier peoples denied them. And We gave Thamud the she-camel, plain to see, and they wronged her. And We do not send the signs except to make people afraid.
اور ہمیں نشانیاں بھیجنے سے کسی چیز نے نہیں روکا سوائے اس کے کہ پہلے لوگوں نے انہیں جھٹلایا تھا۔ اور ہم نے ثمود کو کھلی نظر آنے والی اونٹنی دی تو انہوں نے اس پر ظلم کیا۔ اور ہم نشانیاں صرف اس لیے بھیجتے ہیں تاکہ لوگ ڈر جائیں۔
