وَلَوْلَآ أَن ثَبَّتْنَٰكَ لَقَدْ كِدتَّ تَرْكَنُ إِلَيْهِمْ شَيْـًٔا قَلِيلًا
And had We not made you firm, you might almost have leaned towards them a little. The commentaries note that the āyah names how near it came and who prevented it, in the same breath.
