أَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِدُلُوكِ ٱلشَّمْسِ إِلَىٰ غَسَقِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَقُرْءَانَ ٱلْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْءَانَ ٱلْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا
Establish the prayer at the sun's decline until the darkening of the night, and the recitation at dawn. The recitation at dawn is witnessed. Both traditions gloss the sun's decline as its turning past the meridian, and read the whole line as marking out the times.
نماز قائم کرو سورج کے ڈھلنے سے لے کر رات کی تاریکی تک، اور فجر کی قرأت بھی۔ فجر کی قرأت کی حاضری دی جاتی ہے۔ دونوں روایات سورج کے ڈھلنے کی تشریح اس کے آسمان کے وسط سے ڈھلک جانے کے طور پر کرتی ہیں، اور اس پوری بات کو نمازوں کے اوقات کی نشاندہی سمجھتی ہیں۔
