وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلرُّوحِ قُلِ ٱلرُّوحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّى وَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
And they ask you about the Spirit. Say: the Spirit is of my Lord's command, and you have been given only a little of knowledge. The commentaries note that the answer does not withhold an explanation so much as place the question where the questioner cannot follow.
اور وہ تم سے روح کے بارے میں پوچھتے ہیں۔ کہہ دو: روح میرے رب کے حکم میں سے ہے، اور تمہیں علم میں سے بہت ہی تھوڑا دیا گیا ہے۔ مفسرین بتاتے ہیں کہ یہ جواب کوئی وضاحت روکنے کے بجائے اس سوال کو ایسی جگہ رکھ دیتا ہے جہاں سوال کرنے والا خود ساتھ نہیں چل سکتا۔
