مَّا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنْ عِلْمٍ وَلَا لِـَٔابَآئِهِمْ كَبُرَتْ كَلِمَةً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ إِن يَقُولُونَ إِلَّا كَذِبًا
They have no knowledge of it, and neither had their fathers. Monstrous is the word coming out of their mouths — they say nothing but a lie. The commentaries note that the fathers are named to show that even inheritance gives it no ground.
انہیں اس بات کا کوئی علم نہیں اور نہ ہی ان کے باپ دادا کو تھا۔ یہ ایک بھاری بات ہے جو ان کے منہ سے نکلتی ہے، وہ جھوٹ کے سوا کچھ نہیں کہتے۔ مفسرین باپ دادا کا ذکر اس لیے کرتے ہیں کہ وراثت بھی اسے کوئی بنیاد فراہم نہیں کرتی۔
