وَمَا مَنَعَ ٱلنَّاسَ أَن يُؤْمِنُوٓا۟ إِذْ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمْ سُنَّةُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ قُبُلًا
And nothing kept people from believing when the guidance came to them, and from asking their Lord's forgiveness, except that the way of those before them should come upon them, or that the punishment should come at them face to face.
اور جب لوگوں کے پاس ہدایت آ چکی تو انہیں ایمان لانے اور اپنے رب سے بخشش مانگنے سے کسی چیز نے نہیں روکا سوائے اس کے کہ وہ چاہتے تھے کہ پہلے لوگوں والا معاملہ ان پر بھی آ جائے یا عذاب ان کے سامنے آ کھڑا ہو۔
