فَٱنطَلَقَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَتَيَآ أَهْلَ قَرْيَةٍ ٱسْتَطْعَمَآ أَهْلَهَا فَأَبَوْا۟ أَن يُضَيِّفُوهُمَا فَوَجَدَا فِيهَا جِدَارًا يُرِيدُ أَن يَنقَضَّ فَأَقَامَهُۥ قَالَ لَوْ شِئْتَ لَتَّخَذْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا
So they set off, until when they came to the people of a town they asked its people for food, and they refused to take them in as guests. And they found there a wall about to fall down, and he set it straight. He said: if you had wished, you could have taken a wage for it.
پھر وہ دونوں چل پڑے، یہاں تک کہ جب وہ ایک بستی والوں کے پاس آئے تو انہوں نے ان سے کھانا مانگا، مگر انہوں نے انہیں مہمان بنانے سے انکار کر دیا۔ پھر انہوں نے وہاں ایک دیوار پائی جو گرنے ہی والی تھی، تو اس نے اسے سیدھا کھڑا کر دیا۔ موسیٰ نے کہا: اگر آپ چاہتے تو اس پر کوئی اجرت لے سکتے تھے۔
