قَالَ هَٰذَا رَحْمَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّى فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعْدُ رَبِّى جَعَلَهُۥ دَكَّآءَ وَكَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّى حَقًّا
He said: this is a mercy from my Lord. And when my Lord's promise comes, He will level it to the ground — and my Lord's promise is true. The commentaries note that he names what he has built as mercy and names its end in the same breath.
اس نے کہا: یہ میرے رب کی طرف سے ایک رحمت ہے، پھر جب میرے رب کا وعدہ آ جائے گا تو وہ اسے پاش پاش کر دے گا، اور میرے رب کا وعدہ ہمیشہ سچا ہے۔ مفسرین نوٹ کرتے ہیں کہ اس نے اپنی بنائی ہوئی چیز کو رحمت کا نام دیا اور اسی سانس میں اس کے خاتمے کا بھی ذکر کر دیا۔
