قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَٰمًا زَكِيًّا
He said: I am only a messenger of your Lord, to give you a boy made pure. The commentaries note that the giving is attributed to the One who sent him, and the messenger claims nothing of it for himself.
اس نے کہا: میں تو صرف تیرے رب کا بھیجا ہوا رسول ہوں، تاکہ تجھے ایک پاکیزہ لڑکا عطا کر دوں۔ مفسرین نوٹ کرتے ہیں کہ یہ عطیہ اسی ذات کی طرف منسوب کیا گیا جس نے اسے بھیجا، اور رسول نے خود اس میں سے کچھ اپنے لیے دعویٰ نہیں کیا۔
