وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ عَلَىَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّا
And peace be on me the day I was born, the day I die, and the day I am raised alive. The commentaries read this as safety granted by God at the three moments a person is most alone, and note that the same was said of John before him.
اور مجھ پر سلامتی ہو جس دن میں پیدا ہوا اور جس دن میں مروں گا اور جس دن مجھے زندہ کر کے اٹھایا جائے گا۔ مفسرین اسے اس تحفظ کے طور پر پڑھتے ہیں جو اللہ کی طرف سے ان تین لمحوں میں دیا گیا جہاں انسان سب سے زیادہ تنہا ہوتا ہے، اور نوٹ کرتے ہیں کہ بالکل یہی بات اس سے پہلے یحییٰ کے بارے میں بھی کہی جا چکی تھی۔
