يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّى قَدْ جَآءَنِى مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَٱتَّبِعْنِىٓ أَهْدِكَ صِرَٰطًا سَوِيًّا
My father, there has come to me knowledge that has not come to you, so follow me and I will guide you on an even path. The commentaries note the manner of it: a son correcting his father and calling him 'my father' in every sentence.
اے میرے باپ، بے شک میرے پاس ایسا علم آ چکا ہے جو تیرے پاس نہیں آیا، پس میری پیروی کیجیے، میں آپ کو سیدھے راستے کی ہدایت دوں گا۔ مفسرین اس بات کے انداز پر توجہ دلاتے ہیں: ایک بیٹا اپنے باپ کی اصلاح کر رہا ہے اور ہر جملے میں اسے 'میرے باپ' کہہ کر پکار رہا ہے۔
