فَلَمَّا ٱعْتَزَلَهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا نَبِيًّا
So when he had withdrawn from them and from what they served besides God, We gave him Isaac and Jacob, and each of them We made a prophet. The commentaries note what came after the leaving: he left a household and was given one.
پھر جب اس نے ان سے اور اللہ کے سوا جن چیزوں کی وہ عبادت کرتے تھے ان سب سے کنارہ کر لیا تو ہم نے اسے اسحاق اور یعقوب عطا کیے، اور ہر ایک کو ہم نے نبی بنایا۔ مفسرین اس بات پر توجہ دلاتے ہیں کہ چھوڑنے کے بعد کیا ملا: اس نے ایک گھرانہ چھوڑا تھا، اور اسے ایک نیا گھرانہ عطا کر دیا گیا۔
