وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَىُّ ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ خَيْرٌ مَّقَامًا وَأَحْسَنُ نَدِيًّا
And when Our clear signs are recited to them, those who refuse say to those who believe: which of the two groups is better placed and finer in company? The commentaries note the standard being appealed to: the case is made from comfort and numbers.
اور جب ان کے سامنے ہماری واضح آیات پڑھی جاتی ہیں تو کافر لوگ مومنوں سے کہتے ہیں: بتاؤ دونوں گروہوں میں سے کون سا زیادہ اچھی جگہ اور بہتر مجلس والا ہے؟ مفسرین نوٹ کرتے ہیں کہ یہ دلیل دنیوی آسائش اور تعداد کی بنیاد پر دی جا رہی تھی، حقیقت پر نہیں۔
